Item Details
Originally manufactured in France in 1857 and issued to the French Army, converted to it's present condition for the purpose of trading with the Zulu tribe of French Africa for ivory and precious stones, 12 gauge bore, 6" have been cut from barrel from it's original muzzleloader length, small holes cut in the stock for the purpose of "blessing" before issue to armies, holy water was placed here and a small plug covered it, 22" barrel, appears to be mechanically sound, seldom seen French trade gun. Not searalized
